With Spring just around the corner, it seems fitting that we are seeing signs of normality creeping into the meetings and travel business. Just this week, we received the go-ahead to begin sourcing for a 2022 (postponed in 2021) 400 room, 6 day/5 night international incentive program. This would have seemed improbable even a month ago.

There are also rumblings from our pharma clients about getting back into hotel-based meetings in 3Q of this year. In the meantime, we have several virtual/hybrid meetings planned for the next few months, adding to the numerous reformatted programs we have delivered over the past year.

it’s early days, but with the trajectory now firmly in the positive direction, we anticipate getting back to a welcome return to the “regularness” of the meetings and travel we are accustomed to sooner than later.

We can also find optimism in a number of live events that have already been successful in maintaining high standards of safety and health.
